Ear of the Ocean: World Beyond Words

For me, poetry is rich medicine – it comes through when I open my whole being up to what is calling my awareness.
It’s as if the entire universe is the dance floor and mystery asks me to dance!
It is in the ‘dancing’ that I am deeply nourished.

Mother

The launch of my 3rd book of poetry, Mother, comes at the end of the intense year of 2021. From the outset of the pandemic in 2020, I continued to write and nurture my heart as well as pray and assist friends, family and community as best as I could.
My saving grace was and is my creative process: writing, dancing, singing/voicework, puppetry and visual expression ; connection to the Great Mother, nature herself and meditation.
I was also blessed to have continued connection with dear friends and family near and far.
I hope that you were and are able to find those spaces, those saving graces, that guide and support you along, in the worst and in the best of times.
