Our approach is called Holistic Arts whereby we use all art forms as a ‘way’ to explore ourselves, each other and where we are (in this case, Bali, Indonesia) and to express both individually and collectively in an atmosphere of openness, fun and intuition and respect.

Testimonials
“Yellow Coco is the one of the main reasons why we live in Bali. And it’s not just because I feel that Aya is learning so much there, I am learning equally. I’m learning better ways to parent and help my child learn. I feel that every part of her is being nurtured there. All her senses are fed and her creativity encouraged. Also hugely valuable is that she’s learning basic life skills that we implement daily. I love that there are children of different ages together, I think it allows growth. The children aren’t ‘pigeon holed’ into groups and so she ends up learning by observing other children also and it means that she’s expected to be able, to be a competent part of her community, this I think is massively valuable to her progress. As you know I have many thoughts and questions when it comes to ‘schooling’ and the ways children are prepared for the adult world. To me, Yellow Coco feels right. I wish you both could pin point your formula, that you could spell out your process and teach other people how to provide

the same ‘schooling’ so that other children all over the world can benefit from having there whole selves nurtured and guided as you nurture those who come to you. Watching Aya thrive under your roof fills me with such reassuring satisfaction. And even now, as we are travelling, I have taken you both with us through your songs and the rituals she learnt with you. They make both are lives warmer and smoother. If/when we leave Bali I plan and hope to bring her back for summer workshops with you. I don’t want to be doubtful but I know she won’t receive the same education anywhere else. “
“It has been a liberating experience of all senses; exploring the body as a canvas to move along with each thought process, and painting with intention, it all brings out the true expression of myself as an individual.
Writing out the emotions and thoughts felt easier with guidance. The site visit, together with the other art forms brings deeper understanding to self discovery and to teaching. The course brought out the true spirit in me that enhances myself and my passion
to teach/guide/share with others young and old.”
